In 2017, AIA Austin Women in Architecture created an exhibit and events series entitled “Shape the Conversation.” The project recognized the extraordinary achievements of women architects in Texas and beyond, increased awareness of the breadth of women architects locally, and highlighted the need to increase diversity and inclusion in the profession.

The Panel topics will include: event brand and identity; collaboration and place-making; designing women shaping Austin; and how outreach “shaped the conversation.”
