Since 2002, CREW Austin has connected commercial real estate professionals in the Central Texas area, working together to:

CREW Austin members are empowered by sharing their knowledge and experience with others in our community, while also learning from the insight and know-how of others. That’s why we focus our efforts on networking programs such as the Real Estate Summit & Golf Adventure among numerous other networking opportunities. In growing and strengthening our network, we aim to create more opportunities for women in commercial real estate.

Our mission

CREW Network is a global organization that advances all women in commercial real estate through business networking, industry research, leadership development, and career outreach.

Our history

In 2001 more than 40 women in commercial real estate attended a luncheon to discuss how to support women active in the commercial real estate community. From that meeting, 25 women, who eventually became CREW Austin's Founding Members, met in January 2002 to start CREW Austin. The creation of our chapter is a perfect illustration of the purpose of CREW. The women present at that January meeting were well-known and highly regarded within their respective disciplines, but amazingly, were not all known to each other, which drove home the point of why a women's commercial real estate association was needed.

Our Initiatives

Business Networking

Facilitating business networking and deal making among our multi-disciplinary membership is the cornerstone of our organization. We deliver impactful networking opportunities including three Leadership Summits and the CREW Network Convention and Marketplace annually. Members also have exclusive access to our CREWbiz technology platform, which serves as a membership directory, resource and referral center, personal marketing tool and app.

Industry Research

CREW Network is the world’s leading researcher on women in commercial real estate. Our industry research produces white papers annually and a benchmark study every five years, delivering data and action items to advance women in commercial real estate and positively impact the industry.

Leadership Development

Building effective leaders is key to advancing the commercial real estate industry. We dedicate significant resources to providing our members with high-level leadership development training and opportunities to serve on global boards and committees to develop and hone applicable leadership skills.

Career Outreach

CREW Network and our Foundation are committed to bringing more women into commercial real estate by creating programs that educate women and girls about the career opportunities available to them, supporting college-level commercial real estate education through scholarships, and providing mentorships to those new to the industry.
