Heather Rule, Project Architect and Associate at Pfluger Architects
Heather aspires in her career to create places that make people feel comfortable and valued. She lives with her partner, Marco, and dog, Lalo. She enjoys exploring her community and traveling, and would love to visit Japan and Morocco.
When asked to describe a time when she was faced with something she didn’t know how to do and how she handled it, she said “It feels like everyday I am faced with ‘something’ I do not know how to do. It teaches me to stay humble and lean on my community to find a solution.”
When asked what she would do differently she could do it all again, Heather said “I would be more confident in my decisions and not fear my own voice.” Fittingly, Heather’s favorite quote is “It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent” – Madeleine Albright
