The planning for our annual Austin CREW Careers day is in full swing. Once again, CREW members will be working with 9th grade students at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders to educate and inform students on the various career opportunities available to women within the field of commercial real estate. This year’s event is scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, November 8th. We are in need of volunteers & donations for swag bags.
Please add this date to your calendar and plan on sharing your knowledge, experience and expertise with these amazing and eager young ladies. CREW Careers Day is also a great opportunity to form stronger bonds and establish new connections with fellow CREW colleagues.
With planning well underway, it is not too early to think about ordering items to contribute to the student SWAG bags. We will soon be collecting objects to fill approximately 130 bags. Things do not need to be branded material, although they certainly can be. The only criteria are that items be appropriate, fun, or useful for a young, teenage girl.
