Hard Hats & Heels: Natiivo Austin with STG Design
The newly completed Natiivo tower, nestled in Austin’s vibrant Rainey Street District is a 33-story tower featuring 249 hotel-licensed studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Amenities include a cafe, coworking spaces, and large bike storage facility at the ground level; a fitness studio, outdoor terrace, and dog park at level 10; and a club room with large rooftop pool and outdoor dining area on level 33. Situated at the edge of Downtown and Lady Bird Lake, the Natiivo tower design explores the interplay of Austin’s natural and urban environments. The rippling garage art wall, dynamic movement of windows up the facade, wood veneer insets, and waterfall-like trellis capping the building are all abstractions of natural forms engaging an orthogonal city grid.
