As professionals, our ability to be effective is directly connected to how influential we are among our colleagues, teams and organizational leaders. However, we’re often unaware of what we can do to cultivate that influence… or worse, the things we do that diminish it. Named a “Woman of Influence” by the Austin Business Journal, Stacy Armijo will share her perspective on how professionals can strengthen their influence and offer tips to help attendees ensure the full impact of their potential is felt within their organizations.
About Stacy Armijo:
Stacy Armijo is Chief Experience Officer for Amplify Credit Union, which has $1.5 billion in assets under management with operations in Central Texas and members across the state for its mortgage, retail and commercial banking offerings.
Stacy’s responsibilities are four-fold: (1) marketing, communications and social impact; (2) retail, including branches, contact center, wealth management and consumer lending; (3) payments & operations; and (4) human resources and learning & development. Collectively, those comprise the Experience function for the credit union, which weaves together those who shape Amplify’s promise to its members, employees and community with those who keep it.
Stacy is also active in leadership beyond Amplify. Currently she’s Chairman of the Board for the American Marketing Association nationally; a board member for Communities in Schools of Central Texas, the American Red Cross of Central Texas and the Greater Austin Crime Commission; and an Executive Board Member for the Austin Area Research Organization and the Austin Chamber of Commerce.
She’s also a mom to two boys, ages 6 and 10, and lucky wife to stay-at-home dad Ronnie, who makes her busy life not only possible, but fulfilling.
