Did you know that CREW Austin has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to college women that are pursuing a career in commercial real estate since 2002? Our
UCREW Committee is ready to extend scholarships again this month to three winning applicants. This program is one of the many ways CREW Austin supports the advancement of women in commercial real estate. I champion their work and ask all our members to consider how they can support such a great committee – refer the scholarship application to an eligible college student, or someone going back to school to change a career, sign up to volunteer with this committee, and better yet sign up as a Partner Sponsor for CREW Austin, and select UCREW as one of your many sponsorship benefits.
As a 30-year veteran in commercial real estate finance, I know the work done in CREW Austin and at CREW Network has definitely moved the bar for women in all commercial real estate fields, opening doors, having meaningful conversations, and extending mentorship across the board.
