President’s Remarks, April 2021
CREW Austin is starting the 2nd quarter and embracing change.
After over 15 years of service our dear friend Amy Ables has handed the reigns of CREW Austin Administrator to Jen George. Jen is a Certified Association Executive who will be continuing the groundwork that Amy has set up for us. These ladies have had mirroring careers for some time and their friendship has made for an amazing transition. We will miss Amy and look forward to planning future events with her like the CREW / CCIM Real Estate Summit in October.
On the topic of change, our monthly luncheon venue will now be the newly remodeled Westwood Country Club and our 1st in-person luncheon will be on Tuesday, May 18th however we will still offer Zoom access to those who wish to attend virtually. We are thrilled to provide this hybrid opportunity to safely network in-person. Attendees will be required to wear masks unless they are eating or drinking. Social distancing will be observed. Please be on the lookout for other in-person events as our state starts to open and folks get vaccinated.
Please start planning for the
Spring Leadership Summit June 10th in St. Louis, MO which has been announced to be a hybrid event.
