While I didn’t have an official spring break, I did take a day to drive to Fredericksburg last week to enjoy the wildflowers and beautiful weather. We took Highway 290 West and, yes, I was impressed with the bluebonnets but even more impressed by the real estate development (an occupational hazard for me) in and around South Austin and beyond. It is yet another reminder of the amazing growth of Austin and surrounding areas. What an exciting time to be a resident and commercial real estate professional in Austin.
Thank you to Alexis Michael, Shirley Sheffield, Elise Giles, Kelly Cloud and Hank Crane who spoke about the money madness surrounding commercial real estate at our March Luncheon. It was a great program! Thank you to Hank Crane and Marcus and Millichap for sponsoring the event. Also, thank you to Kathy Carr, our Foundation Chapter Champion, for presenting CREW Network Foundation video and discussing the mission and work of CREW Network Foundation to advance women on a globally. If you missed the luncheon or if you just want to feel good again and watch the video, you can find it through this link: https://crewnetwork.org/foundation
. While you are there, if you would consider donating to the CREW Network Foundation to support CREW Austin, it would be greatly appreciated.
